Hulk Smash Rock by linnypinny

Hulk Smash Rock

There are several areas of the US that I know are into the current craze of rock hiding (TN included). The idea is simply to paint a rock and hide it in a public area - when you find one, you can keep it (and replace with another) or re-hide it. I found this one (my first) in the downtown square of my hometown yesterday. I will be attempting to paint something (I can't draw or paint - this should be interesting) and replace it the next time I visit my mom. I'd be interested to know if your area is participating - it's great fun for all ages! Google it, and let me know!
Cool looking rock! Love the face on it. This phenomenon has hit our small town of 40,000 people too. I saw one rock as I was out trying to get pictures one day and left it there for someone else to discover. It's a great way to get people involved in spending time outdoors

@grammyn Thanks, Katie - I've had fun today - painting and thinking about where to take my creations - it's a nice de-stresser!

It's become quite a craze here too. I noticed a painted rock, hidden in a tree, in the picnic area, where we had lunch today.

@merrelyn I've just found the one, but I'm now addicted to painting them! Thanks for stopping by!

love this. I was given a bunch of rocks to paint, but after two years I opened the box and decided the rocks were gorgeous as is. So they sit on my back porch, sadly unpainted... But this is definitely a character
