I used to give my writing students a little exercise to write a paragraph listing the things atop someone's table, desk, counter. The items reveal the person. This certainly does that.
@janeandcharlie A very thoughtful assignment - I've always thought it interesting to see all the desks at my office - some are covered with knick knacks, stuffed animals, photos and others look like it's a vacant desk (until the person arrives and sits there!) Thanks for dropping by today.
