This was originally intended to be a personal response to a recent incident that happened in my community where ignorant people were coming out in droves for the claimed support of America, our rights, and patriotism. I thought it might be therapeutic for me, but it just got me more charged up as I added to my lengthy commentary. I decided to take the high road, but am still posting the photo.
Let me just remind everyone that there are veterans that have brains, are compassionate, and respect diversity. In fact there are many of us.
Thank you for your service! My husband is a Veteran of the Gulf War. He is amazed at how many people stop to thank him for his service when they see his Veteran plate.
