Fly

I wasn't sure if this fly was alive as it let me get so close, but as soon as I snapped the shot, he buzzed away.

Great macro and you were lucky to get him because flys dont sit still for long. The detail is brilliant of the fly and the spiral plant :)

I was excited to see this shot because the thumbnail was so cool. Then, I got a fabulous surprise! I didn't see the fly until I clicked on it. Amazing colors and I just love the curley-q's on the plant. Just wondering...is this a blow fly?!

re: centipede hysteria. That's cool about the number/pairs of legs! One of the things I love most about 365 is the education. It's a combo of photography, biology, botony, geography, and good old life lessons all rolled into one. You just can't buy an education like this one.
