Football Feast by lisabell

Football Feast

Okay, I admit it. I’m a fair weather football fan. The Colts didn’t make it to the Super Bowl so I won’t be watching. I do, however, love the food that goes with football so I made the customary appetizers my family likes to eat while watching. I’ll enjoy my potato skins and watch some of the funny commercials while waiting on the half-time show. Then it’s game over for me.
Ah, c'mon. Watch the Squeelers get their butts kicked. Always fun (hope it happens)

@moncooga We do business with a company in PA and my colleague there was quite smug when Pittsburgh beat the Colts. So if I was watching, I’d be wearing a cheesehead hat.

The food looks great; Maybe I should become a football fan. I am watching something else....and still grading papers. Sigh.

Well, your cheese head hat has prevailed! And those do look yummy. You should share the recipe! - - PS: Nice shot of them, too!

Was sorry that Peyton didn't get to the Superbowl- I like him and his brother. Didn't have inclinations one way or the other on this Superbowl, but was happy for Aaron Rodgers who seems like a pretty nice guy. The commercials were mostly terrible, the half-time show worse, but like your potato skins are food was tasty and made up for everything else. They look yummy- great shot!

ugh- that should be "our" food!

@pixelchix Yes, I lost interest prior to half-time. I thought the Black Eyed Peas were disappointing, too.

@olivetreeann You're right about the commercials and the half-time show. Thank goodness for food! This year's Super Bowl was a big of a fiasco. Hopefully we learned something from Dallas so we don't repeat their mistakes next year here in Indy when it's our turn. At least we know how to deal with snow!

@mrssmith And people think teachers are done working when school's over for the day. You earn summer break by spending evenings and weekends grading papers and writing lesson plans.
