I love, love, love to read! My husband tells me I always have my nose stuck in a book or magazine. I’m the kind of person that has to read the back of the cereal box. I have an insatiable appetite for reading, but at least when I indulge, it is calorie free!
Wow, you did a great job with this. Sometimes I feel like I momentarily get confused about what's real and what's from the book when I put down a really powerful book.
Love this! Weirdly enough had the same idea in my head for this week's theme, but not a clue how to actually do the 'tiny' me bit!! Definite fav and well done you.
Briliantly executed, love the idea :)
I also love reading & also have books on my little iPod Touch but it's not the same as actually handling a paper book!
Gotta fav this! So creative and I am also an addict. "Hi, my name is MaryBeth and I am an addict." haha I listen to a book on my two hour commute, another is on my kindle, another is a real book to hold in my hand, I read my student's books so I can discuss with them, read Nat'l GEo and Smithsonian....reading is breathing to me.
@caddick Thanks for the kind comment and the fav. I did this by merging two photos using Photoshop Elements 9. It was fairly easy, but I'm still pretty new at using it so it took me awhile to cut the picture of me out and add a little bit of shadow and "shrink" me down to the proper size.
@lisjam1 Thanks very much for the info, I so loved your shot.
I was just looking into Photoshop Elements (think it's up to version 10 now) online based on other forum answers. How cool is that!
What a neat posting!!!
Isn't it the greatest thing to be immersed in a book. I'm not sure we will ever be able to say the same for an e-reader.
