Blackberry by littleconnie

Blackberry

Had to take some quick photos before I left Thorpdale as I was not sure if I would get a chance to take any on my travels to go back home.
This is reminder of an invasive plant that I do not miss one little bit.

I appreciate the time that people take to look and comment on my photos. Feedback on how to improve is always welcome. Thank you.
Funny how weeds can be so pretty, yet annoying. The colors are nicely complementary as is your DOF.

If it hadn,t been for rabbits & blackberries when we moved from King island to Gippsland (1953) we may not have survived.Mum bottled enough blackberries in season to last through the winter.

Invasive and prickly, but they do make the yummiest of crumbles :)

A rare sight as they are now listed as an invasive weed. It will be a few days till they are ready to pick.

Like the way it's draped over the fence. Nice dof and focusing.
