Paper Dreams

I was get pushed challenged by @northy to come up with either a surreal composite or a forced perspective shot. Today was my first chance to play & some how this is what I ended up with. Boat, sea and background shot as they are, me, spoon and a number of cotton wool clouds separately shot and then composited in.

Wow, that is an intricate photo you did and so creative! I can't figure out how you did the spoon, however it looks so cool! Well met on your challenge!

@lizjones thank you, glad it made you laugh. I never thought when starting 365 I'd be posting photos of me rowing an origami boat. Now that is surreal!

@juleshoogstraanderson Hi Jules the spoon I just shot on its own against a white background and then selected just the spoon, pasted in to the main image, transformed down to a suitable size & then played with different blending modes to get the 'right' look. Sounds complex like this, but only took a few mins!

Still lots of work for a great creation. Looking forward to getting my laptop soon, so I can learn these editing techniques.
