Whilst we were in Cyprus the BBCNews24 covered a lot of the troubles in Syria. It was odd to think that we were sat completely relaxed on one edge of this sea during a gorgeous sunset whilst those the other side of the same sea were so troubled. You can't see it in this photo but on some days you could actually see land on the horizon. That was Syria.
what a beautiful image. I often think the same when I am at a waters edge somewhere - what lies at the other side of it and is that a happy or sad place. the blues are great here
