Ok ok...you may laugh at the abandoned garden, but look what grows in it!!
This strawberry plant was planted in an old washing up bowl about 4 years ago. We only ever did get about 4 strawberries from it - they were either eaten by slugs and snails or left too long...
If I keep an eye on the bowl this year, I might end up having a good handful(?)
Beautiful! Damn slugs and snails. I have lots of flowers on my plants this year but alas have the slug and snail problem and don't like killing them with the blue pellets as I don't want blue pellet poison in my strawberries!! It's a dilemma!!!!
