You shall not pass

This tree with thorns on its bark is also in our neighbourhood. It is a bit squashed in on a pavement, so might not grow very big. I've Googled it and the closest match I can get is a Ceiba Pentandra (Kapok tree). It is quite unique here, I have never seen another apart from this one.

I like your serie based on some particular views of tree barks and trunks. It is quite different than the "usual" tree pictures. I like the POV you have taken for this one, and the light that enhances the thorns.

Love the pov here, it adds to the rather threatening looking effect of those thorns. The stark mono works well for the effect too.
