Today we received 96mm or 3 3/4 inches of rain in less than 24 hours.
It was a solid downpour most of the time - much needed.
The coastline took a battering and roads were washed away.
I took these photos from the TV.
The left photo is taken from the air of the broken bitumen.
You can see the double lines of the road in the right hand photo at the bottom.
That's the problem when we get too much too soon - the land cannot always take it.
Somewhere in the world - others are praying for rain & here we are with more that enough at one time.
Isn't nature a mystery?
