Fathers Day - Cooking Dinner In Gabe's Kitchen - the Hub of His Home

Happy Fathers Day to all Fathers wherever you are - I hope your day was a good one :D
This weekend we had the pleasure of looking after "Jay" the wonder dog while our son Gabe and his partner Katrina went to a Jazz Festival in Noosa.
(For those of you who don't know - Jay is my son's partner's dog).
We took her back tonight & we were invited to stay for dinner.
What a wonderful meal Gabe cooked for us - home made Potato & Leek Soup with foccocia bread - scrumptious washed down with a wonderful red!

What a marvelous family picture, Lois! Sounds like "Dad" got the royal treatment, and in so glad to hear he got the Father's Day he deserved! (Our FD was back in June). I'm also not surprised to read you have a friend that goes back to your 5th birthday! I moved such a great deal, I wasn't a good correspondent at that age and lost track of those friends. But when you have a history, it's nice to share the rememberences...just lovely!
