Bearded Dragon

Today I spotted this bearded dragon on my sister's driveway.
It's not as clear as it could be, as I took the shot from quite a distance. There was originally 3 of them & they ran when I pulled up.
Good to see such big ones around still.
We often see them in our back yards..

Ooh, look at him! I haven't ever really seen any large lizards (which I, personally, count as a blessing. They kinda scare me). xD
But he just looks so... I don't know... regal! I love it!

I remember we had one as a pet when I was younger... Spike... he was very cool; but my older brother's pet. Unfortunately, he got out of his den and turned wild on us. I do remember he came back to your yard every Summer.
Since then, I've been able to pick up all kinds of lizards and am not scared of them. However, the lovely Blue Tongue are just lovely.

I'll have to google your wonderful lizard to see how big they actually get! I love the lizards we have out here, and they're so good to find around the yard. They'd be startling if they were "large" which is why I'm curious about yours. ...sorry to have given everyone the silent treatment last night...I guess I spent it all on an afternoon full of comments for everybody ;-)
