What an exciting day for our friends Helen & Rob.
A great holiday in NZ.
They are winging their way to New Zealand as I type this.
We took them to the airport this afternoon & spent a few hours chatting. Virgin Blue had been having flight problems, so we stayed in case we had to bring them home again :D
I look forward to hearing all about it as Bernie & I have a 5 day stop over there next June on our way back from the Cook Islands
I wish I was going now though :D
What a pleasant-looking couple! They're going to have a wonderful holiday; Ken and I celebrated our 25th WA there, and it's about as pretty as a country can be for all its natural beauty. There're sure to regale you with their memories of it all, and you'll be looking forward to your trip all the more!
Be patient..the time live come sooner than you think. don't you find the older you get fast time goes by..I hope Helen and Rob have the time of their life.
Cook Islands, New Zealand. It all sounds so remote and romantic to me in the U.S. I've always wanted to travel to your part of the world, but at this stage of our lives, I'm afraid my husband's circulation couldn't stand such a long plane ride. At least I can enjoy your photos and observations!
