At 6pm last night we arrived at Gabe & Kat's place for dinner.
Gabe whipped up a great feast out of what was left in the fridge.
Thinking that we would be off to the airport pronto, we made noises to that effect.
Nah! Plenty of time they said. So While Kat surfed the net, Gabe played his guitar until it was time to go.
Talk about laid back.
We had coffees, beers & Bloody Mary's at the International Airport while waiting for their flight & drank to the adventure ahead of them.
When they disappeared through customs, we headed home as they still had 2 hours before their flight departed at 12.50am.
We heard from them tonight - they are in Bangkok.
They've had a tour of a temple, an hour tut-tut ride around the city, dinner our & they were just going to bed - dead beat.
Loving every minute of it.
All good.
(I tweeked the colour in picnik a little to make everyone look healthier :)
What a fun collage! I'm glad you got to spend some time relaxing with them before they took off on their adventure, and I'm glad they arrived safe and sound!
Glad to hear they arrived safely in Bangkok. The temples are beautiful but the tuk-tuk rides can be veeery scary. Lots of traffic in Bangkok Keep us posted on their adventure
What an adventure. With their laid back attitude they will undoubtedly get the best out of their trip. They have already packed more into one day than most of us do in a week!
