I love fine English China.
To commemorate 100 years of "Royal Albert" china, Royal Albert bought out a set of 10 fine china mugs.
One for every decade last century.
I couldn't help myself - I had to have them :D
This one is 1900's
They are beautiful to drink out of - I used them every day.
They have a 2 year breakage replacement guarantee.
Hope someone out there shares my love :)
Yes Lois I like collecting china cups ,I put a pic. of some of them on 365 a while ago, This one of yours is very special, and you have taken a beautiful picture of it.
Awww, Lois, your note was so sweet...many notes, but I've fallen behind...I had to come by to see what you've been up to! I'm hugely happy for you that you got this beautiful set of tea cups! Yes, it's another passion we share :-) Several years ago I began buying china on ebay (I loved many of the old, handpainted pieces) and before long, ken had to turn a closet into a china cabinet for me! So yes, *I get it*! Enjoy sipping tea or coffee from a proper cup, and if you'd like, think me there enjoying it in your company! Shall I bring my cup, or may I use one of yours?!
Beautiful tea cup...I have "Old Country Roses"...doesn't everybody? :)
Just the other day I was thinking about getting the tea cups out and sharing a cup of herbal tea with the Granddaughters. One more thing to check off my bucket list♥
Mum always gets out the 1970's mug of this collection when I'm at her house when we're having a cup of green tea or coffee.. as I'm born in 1973. It's just lovely; and they keep the heat in them as well as keeping the liquid hot for a long period of time.
