Erythrina blakei (Blake's Coral Tree)

I spied these blooms on a tree outside my Endodontist's office yesterday - they looked beautiful.
We used to have one of these in our back yard.
It gets big spikes on the branches, so we got rid of it when the kids were little.
Just thought you might like to see how it flowers.
They are a beautiful vibrant red.
