Melbourne Cup Day

Yesterday was Melbourne Cup Day here in Australia.
The whole country stopped to watch this famous horse race.
Lynda & I went to a Luncheon for Epilepsy Queensland & I snaffled this red racing balloon decoration.
Some workplaces dress up in race day wear & ladies wear wonderful hats.
We have sweeps on the horses & bets at the TAB.
Lynda doubled her money on her bet & I covered mine too :D
A great day in all.
