Today we met for lunch at our local hotel for an early Christmas "get together".
As we all can't be together on Christmas Day, Allan thought it would be a good idea to have a lunch before Christmas.
Gabe & Kat and Helen (our sister) and her husband were at work so could not be there, but we will catch up closer to Christmas.
We had a great time - lots of talking and laughing.

How nice to get together when it suited you. I think so much of the stress of the holidays is due to trying to meet some unrealistic society-decreed standards. Looks like you are having great fun.
Great idea. Its never too early to get the family together. We are hoping that we will be having Christmas day with our three children, their partners and children - if it happens it will be the first time for 9 years.
