🌈🐾🐶 In loving memory of Mr Spock 2004-2020 🐶🐾🌈
It is with tears in my eyes that I have to announce Mr Spock passed away today.
He had been getting worse for the last few weeks, but yesterday morning he was shaking his head and suddenly cried very loudly. We went to the vet who gave him a painkiller but during the day it got worse, in the evening he couldn’t open his mouth to eat or drink and couldn’t stand up. The vet gave him another shot but to no avail. Tonight we stayed by his side as he was very nervous and anxious.
Probably he had some brain malfunction that caused him to hallucinate and hindered his muscle control.
We had to take the difficult decision to end his suffering and he crossed the rainbow bridge at 14h today.
Although our hearts are bleeding we find some comfort in the knowledge he had a long and happy life and doesn’t have to suffer anymore.
