Timid

I am not really one for self portraits. In fact the few pictures of me that exist I am flipping off the camera (a trick I learned while doing newspaper, keeps you off the front page).
But it has been so nice seeing everyone else, and putting a face with the photos, I though I would give it a go. I don't particularly like how I look but I love the lighting in this one.

I am still amazed how many, including myself, say they don't like self portraits. There should be a poll on this site to see how many DO like to be in front of the camera. I don't think there would be many. It is a very nice picture. I like the lighting and your expression. What is that white stuff on the tree?

Thank you, this was pretty hard for me to post so I appreciate the compliments. As for the tree, I have no idea, but I think it may be something that was sprayed or wrapped around it several years ago.
