“The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.” - Bertrand Russell
Weird thing happened, I forgot to add tags so I clicked the edit button and somehow deleted everything but the tags. I really should do this when I am more awake.
Today Les and I slept in and did absolutely nothing productive. We decided to drive around and take some pictures. I wasn't prepared for anything physically demanding so I wore a nice sweater and jeans and boots with three-inch heels and no traction.
In the end we visited two parks with waterfalls in them. One was very easy to access and my attire was not an issue. The second was this one where we wound up bushwhacking it through some woods, leaves at least 18 inches deep at some points and climbing down a very slippery hill to the creek bed. And I did better than Les who was wearing sneakers. Only a true woman could do all of that in three inch heels, I'm pretty proud of myself.
That is where I took this photo. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it and decided to post it even though I have been doing a lot of waterfalls recently.
The runner up shot is this one http://picasaweb.google.com/zhmyers/November2010#5539632048173066450
from the first park we went to. I liked the juxtaposition of the nature and the graffiti, but I loved this one more. The first park is rather close to our house so we think we will go back there and take more photos when it snows, it should look pretty cool.
