We went hiking again on Saturday, perfect weather! I could post another slow shutter speed shot of a creek or cascade. But there was just so much growing on all the dead trees I couldn't pass up. I was torn between this shot and one of a different log that had at least three types of moss or fungus growing right on top of each other.

I've been working late shifts and not geting home until midnight and so I have been posting at odd hours and while extremly tired. I hope to get caugt up here and with my blog tomorrow before I go to work.
LOL.. Those are Polypores. A form of mushroom that eats trees. That looks like they are on a downed tree. If you see them on a standing tree it's a goner!

That other shot on picasa is crazy wild good too.

That is an excellent shot of them.
