The Student's Kiss by louannwarren

The Student's Kiss

When we were in Heidelberg last year we purchased these chocolates. They were originally made by a chocolatier for young men to give young women and not be considered too forward by the girl's chaperones. I still have this one tin, might have to sample them today. Smile
I can see why you would keep the tin. I can't believe you resisted the chocolates this long. Lovely picture. Instant fav!

@henrir Thank you! Our tour guide said "don't go there, the chocolates will melt before you get back to the ship". I said "I'm going anyway", and almost all of the tour group went with me; we all bought chocolates and they did not melt. The only thing I could think was that she did not get a kickback for bringing tourists to that shop! Smile. Thank you for the fav!

That lovely tin was worth the stop by itself - not to mention the chocolates! What a fun thing to keep.

Nicely composed and captured. Amazing what those iPhone cameras can do sometimes.

I'd say that, back in the day, this may have not seemed too forward for him to present, but, oh my, look at *her* body language ; ) VERY sweet little tin, and a perfectly wonderful souvenir to bring home!

Oh yum! I am not good at resisting chocolate. They would not have lasted a year in my house!
