The word for today is "horsepower". I had to search for a horse photo (even though I live in Texas!) and found this fellow using his horsepower, making a living one day at a time pulling a carriage in Rome.

You know I think he had those small blinders on and that ear covering hat to keep him from being skittish. So many scooters and regular traffic on Rome's roads, I'm sure it's hard on the carriage horses. I wished for some carrots when I was taking his photo.
