"Passion" is the February Word for today. Passion is described as "a strong feeling or enthusiasm for something". I have collected roosters for over 40 years and when I find a unique one I am certainly passionate about having it. This Dominicker is one of two taxidermied roosters I own. He is from Sausalito, California, and mounted on a piece of driftwood - perfect for a Californian! He resides in my kitchen but I thought he would look spiffier sitting outside on the waterfall for his 365 debut. Smile.

@Weezilou My sister called me while she was vacationing in California and I bought him sight unseen and had him shipped to my office. My assistant was terrified of him, she said he was looking at her and giving her the evil eye. I took him home that evening but we always have laughed about her fear of him. I love Sausalito, it is such a lovely place!
