I loved this fence line at the cabins in the Hill Country last month. I even liked the rusty rebar brace that supported it and held it together. Last photo for the lineup theme.
Thank you so much for your comments and fav, cedar posts were the fencing material of choice for the ranchers in Texas for a long time. They are impervious to wood rot, they last and last. They were strung with 3 rows of barbed wire so the cattle couldn't get out. Today many fences are metal, or wood planks, they don't have the rugged character of cedar posts, but of course they are straighter and I imagine easier to work with than cedar.
