To attract these mosquito eating birds you put multi room bird house condos and/or the wonderful Purple Martin Gourd houses on 12 foot poles away from trees. Once they start nesting they sing lovely tunes and do cart wheels when they are catching the high flying mosquitos. These houses were in chef Elaine Martin's garden in Austin, which is chemical free. The Martins keep mosquitos away from her garden plot very well!
