It's the hottest day of the year, please stop looking at your camera and take my picture!

It was 102 degrees F. in Dallas with very high humidity and this girl was anxious to get her Quinceanera photos made at the Arboretum last Friday. She was really trying to protect her dress and her photographers kept stopping and looking at each of the photos as they took them. It was unbelievably hot that day, my heart went out to her as she kept standing there, waiting, waiting, waiting!
Poor girl! Beautiful dress she has on!

I definitely feel for her! You caught a good shot of what was going on. Picked a beautiful spot - but that heat must have been horrible.

That is a hot day. You have captured a great candid shot of what is going on there. She does not look very happy. I hope she got some good photos out of it.

I just Googled "Quinceanera". Amazing what you can learn on 365.

@littleconnie It is a very popular Mexican American tradition observed by so many of these pretty girls and their families and friends.

Great shot- boy that would be annoying. Hopefully they got their settings settled and the pictures turned out well. Otherwise she'll feel it was a waste of her time.

Wonderful candid shot, Lou Ann! I was in several Quinceaneras for my close friends . . . wow, that seems like ages ago. Thanks for the memories! :-)
