“The Butterfly Flutterby”

The Grapevine Botanic Garden has the Butterfly Flutterby every October to honor the Monarch migration to Mexico. In honor of the park’s dedication to butterflies, this sculpture was being completed when we were there Friday. It was surrounded by a metal construction fence so I did what all photographers do, I put my camera’s lens through one of the fence holes and took some shots. Smile.

@nicolecampbell It is permanent, they just didn’t get it finished for this year’s events. I want to go back and stand in the middle (or lay on the ground in the middle) and take some photos!
