Here’s a shot of those spiky balls that are the fruit of the Sweet Gum tree. You can see how much fun they are to walk on, such a shame because the tree leaves are lovely. Most people take the trees out though, those balls are just too much trouble.

How pretty! I don't mind the prickly balls- but then I've never had one of these trees on the property where I live! Nice shot- great "surprise" edition with the heart of sky!
@olivetreeann@littleconnie Thank you for your great comments. Trust me, those balls are the biggest nuisance, you don’t want to deal with them every year, they wear you out when you’re trying to do yard work.
