For the Flamingo Friday affair...ha! University towns always have “far out” gift shops; yesterday we ate lunch in Denton, Texas, home to two large universities. On their town square was this shop with a white Christmas tree decorated with flamingos. Lots of street reflections in the shop windows, but I just had to take a few photos anyway!
HA! Tag it flamingo-Friday (or is it "flamingo Friday"?) in a few days no one will realize it wasn't a Friday when you posted it! Pretty funny...those flamingos are still a hot design...but sloths and llamas are nudging in, I've noticed!
That's amazing and so much fun! For the tags use . . . "flamingo friday" (space between words and quotation marks) and also flamingo-friday (no quotation marks since there aren't spaces). I just used these two tags yesterday for my flamingo photo which is why I'm familiar with them. :-)
@gaylewood Thank you all for your comments and favs! Denton is where Hoochie’s is - the sight of my last flamingo (on the roof) post. It’s a typical university town, funky decorations, funky shops, a bit too many psychedelic t-shirts for my taste. Smile. They do have some great restaurants though!
