3 Faux Buzzards, sittin’ in a tree!

These Double Crested Cormorants looked for all the world like 3 black Buzzards surveying their domain.
Nice find. I don't think I have ever seen confidants around here. But maybe I did and thought they were buzzards. Ha!

@henrir you can see the confusion over these birds on my Facebook page. I labeled them Coots, lol. All straightened out now, they are Double Crested Cormorants....I’m pretty sure! 😊

Well spotted ( whatever they may be - ha ha ! )- So good of them to sit well spaced out and diagonally against the glorious blue sky in the framing . Makes me think of "We three kings from the orient far " !!

Amazing thing to see Lou Ann. Strange how creepy they look even though probably lovely birds!

Lovely 'hat trick' three all at once.

Cool shot! I like that you have all 3 in there and that none of them sits up straight.

Oh, my goodness! I thought buzzards right away...so interesting that they're cormorants. I learn something new every day on 365! Amazing to capture all three posing nicely for you in a 'stair-step' pattern and so wonderful against the blue sky. :-)

Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil??? That's neat the way they've lined themselves up.

Great image! Love the fact that you were able to get three Cormorants sitting together like this - they must be friends!
