I cannot remember the subject of that advertising campaign, I just remember this tag line. (Frozen dinners, maybe?). When I went on a river cruise with @henrir oh, 25 years ago, I purchased this tapestry table cloth. If you look closely, you can see chickens in the pattern. It was not large enough to cover the tabletop, so I turned it on an angle. If nothing else it reinforces my love of anything chicken/rooster related 😊 Some serious faffing of this photo for the “I - Inside” Alphabet August challenge.
Absolutely beautiful. I remember that ad, but for the life of me, I can't remember what it was for. Oh my, that was a long time ago. But what a fun trip. Did your beautiful face come from Russia also? I have a similar one that Roland brought back to me on one of his trips.
@henrir A florist close to my office had that vase (you can’t see the chickens on it from this angle) and I had him put the yellow faux tulips in it. It’s been my summer centerpiece ever since. I still regret not buying that hand crafted nativity at one of our stops along the river. The Russians are incredible artists, as you know all too well. 😊
Your decor in your dining room is beautiful - that touch of yellow in those flowers is so perfect for summertime. And what a nice memory that cloth brings back I'm sure.
What a beautiful dining room! I like the idea of the angled table cloth- very artsy! The painting effect is perfect too. This could be a spread in a magazine!
you have a beautiful dining room. the chickens look nice and they match the tablecloth. now, when's dinner? :-)
