We enjoy this restaurant when we are in Dallas for the day. It has wonderful employees and the food is really good. Everyone needs a “go-to place”, this one is our’s.

I believe they might have another location but this is the original, founded in1955. Mr Dunston is there every day, as he has been since they opened. We asked our waitress the other day if he ever took a day off. She said he was always there, she couldn’t remember him going on vacation; she’s been there for 21 years!
@louannwarren in downtown Houston, like near the Galleria, certain intersections are marked with a large circular THING in the middle of the intersection marking the street names. I thought it was decorative, but it must be symbolic of a Wagon wheel.
wow! the ambience this place emits, no wonder you like it and if it is coupled with great food and great service, the more reason to keep going back. i, too, have a go-to place but i've only taken a few people there, and i never tell my friends and acquaintances about it. what a nice capture.
