The beloved White Stork in Europe

When we were on our Rhine River Cruise a few years ago, several of the city centers had protected stork nests on tops of buildings. It is a huge honor to be chosen for the “European Stork Village” association, the cities vie for that honor. I found this German glass ornament in the village of Stein am Rhein. It is on my memory tree.
