Sometimes black and white is best

This is the Cormorant’s Riverwalk from yesterday. In this shot the grassy water’s edge was a dull beige brown and the water was just as plain. Tweaking the colors didn't work, so black and white it is!

In colour and the egret would probably have blended in but in black and white he really stands out. I love the ripples of the water too.
