A working windmill in historic Grapevine

I was glad to see this windmill pumping water on the museum grounds. In Texas there are many abandoned windmills, this one actually in working order is a great teaching point for the children who visit the area.

Windmills are so useful. We used to have one that was used to keep the water in our dugout fresh.
