No rain can be a good thing for Yuccas

Lori’s Yucca, on the left, and False Red Yucca on the right have not been watered one time this year. When everything else has to be pampered and fertilized, desert plants thrive with no attention whatsoever.
they are great survivors!

Great shots. I've only seen the white flowered version of a yucca before. I like the red flowers.

Two lovely specimens , amazing how they can survive ! but having dug up a large white yucca in the garden ( not by me ) its amazing on their huge strong roots which obviously store water .

They look wonderful, certain species belong in certain regions. Like our Proteas and pincushions, they also don't need watering.

@ludwigsdiana so amazing your beautiful flowers are actually desert hardy. @beryl I didn’t know that about the white yuccas, it stands to reason they have to get moisture from somewhere. @milaniet low, almost no maintenance for sure @pusspup @onewing @sarah19 @gijsje @photographycrazy @kwind @ziggy77 Thank you so much for your great comments!
