The Crepe Myrtles have their fall colors on

The Myrtle’s leaves turn kind of burnt orange before they fall. There are just a few blossom stragglers left on the trees. We had a half inch of rain, and have had two cool nights. The small amount of rain was quite a tease for us, we were so excited, then it stopped and didn’t come back.
