Karen

This metal sculpture has been featured in my project before, this time I’m using her for my rainbow red today. The tall jointed stalks growing around the sculpture are called Scouring Rushes. I laughed when I read that the art curator responsible for the public art on the Riverwalk where she is located had named her Karen, her counterpart is Dave, you will see him on green Thursday.
Cool sculpture!

Very different. My good friend Karen is a little put off with the use of her name in today's society!

I'm always fascinated by what an artist will present and a gallery will purchase...I forever struggle while "simplicity" rules the day more often than not!

Love your pov!

@kwind @ingrid01 @mittens @gijsje @bruni @ludwigsdiana @radiogirl @happysnaps @sarah19 @olivetreeann @onewing @pcoulson @carole_sandford @joemuli @Weezilou @jacqbb thank you all! This popped on the PP this morning, thank you. I’m hopeful the Riverwalk will be completed in 2020, so far they are a full year behind schedule, so frustrating for the entire area, as the construction noise is intense.
