Magnolia blooms after the flood

We had so much rain over the weekend, over 8” in 36 hours, that the majority of the Magnolia blooms turned brown and started falling apart. There are some new blooms that will open and be their usual creamy white, thank goodness.

You had a lot of rain! They are still magnificent blooms! I just discovered there is a big magnolia across the street and I plan on taking some pics when the lower buds bloom! :)

That's a lot of rain! Well, thankfully you'll get more blooms but these did make for a good photo subject.
