Canna Lily

These lilies are putting on one flower at a time this year. I’m sure they are mad at me because I dug up most of their roots, just left a few. They are so invasive, you have to really watch them or they will take over a flowerbed. It was so windy yesterday, really hard to take a flower photo.

I’m glad I kept trying to get an in focus photo of this Canna, Later that night the wind got up to 60 mph, tree limbs broken, patio furniture tossed in pools and on tops of houses. Everything was okay at our house but it was quite a destructive wind storm!

beautiful lily ... I've tried growing these in the summer. They do OK but not great and we have to dig up the bulbs before winter. Interesting to read that they are invasive.
