This is St. Mary Lake in Glacier National Park, with Wild Goose Island in the middle of the lake. It’s one of the most photographed scenes in Glacier NP, where photo opportunities are at every turn.
Love the wonderful memories this brings back. You can't find a more photogenic place than Glacier. Have a shot of Wild Goose Island, too. This sure made a nice black and white

I have been to the park but I don’t remember this spot! It’s been several years so I’m going to plead old age as the reason. Your photo is stunning an excellent in black and white
@milaniet you had Jean to show Glacier to you, that would be so wonderful. We take the Red Bus Tour every time we go, sometimes all day, sometimes half a day. Everything depends on the Going to the Sun Road and the snow. One year we were there July 4 and the road was still impassable. You can see the bus seat back on the bottom left corner of my photo. Some day. Some day I will go to Glacier. For now I can enjoy your photo. BTW - I noticed that you are from North Texas. I lived in Texas for 15 years and my PhD is from U of North Texas.
