The Texas Longhorn

The Longhorn is Texas’ large mammal symbol. If you have been a tourist in Texas you have seen these hardy cattle on our ranch land and at tourist attractions. This fellow is at the Fidelity Investment campus not far from my home, they have a large herd of Longhorns there. Texans identify Longhorns with strength and staying power, several local businesses that have huge campuses have herds. “Only in Texas”. Smile

Quite a shot of those horns! We have one farmer here that has several Texas longhorns and I saw up close how huge they were. Amazing.
