The Silver-spotted Skipper almost never visits yellow flowers but favors blue, red, pink, purple, and sometimes white and cream-colored ones.

Very nice. I have noticed that most butterflies and skippers seem to prefer purple or red over yellow or white flowers. You did a nice job not blowing out the white in this skipper. Was it cloudy?
