Poor Lucy hates loud thunderstorms and fireworks. Our town will have fireworks every weekend through the summer but the week of July 4th they have a show every night! We've tried many different things to help lessen her stress but nothing has helped. To top it all off we've had bad thunderstorms during the day this week and then fireworks at night... someone in town has been shooting off their own fireworks up until 2am! We're all sleep deprived and exhausted but especially Lucy.
I always feel so sorry for the poor dogs this time of year - but to deal with this all summer - that's miserable for her. You've shown those nervous eyes so well.
