One of the dance centers where I work is located in a shopping village that requires large fruit displays around the window the last week of November. We need to go to a barn where they provide the wood boards that will be mounted on the windows of our "shop". They also provide fruit (oranges, apples, lemons, limes, pineapples, pomegranates) and many different types of greens, flowers and pinecones. We sign up for a 4 hour time slot where we staple and hammer nails into the greens and fruit to make the displays. The real fun is when we present our boards to the supervisors who proclaim them finished or recommend addition work. We were sent back to our work table 3 times but finally finished to their approval! This is a photo of one sections of one of the boards.
