Birds of Paradise are my favorite plants in our yard. They’re over 50 years old and beautiful. My neighbors have wanted us to dig them up for years but I refuse!

Such a showy flower - so lucky to be able to grow in your own garden while we would pay the earth for one bloom for a flower arrangement !! How dare your neighbour suggest you should get rid of them !

@beryl @lyndemc @mzzhope @jacqbb @happypat I’ve also thought people were crazy not to like these flowers! I was a little worried the last 7 years that our neighbor would dig them up! He took care of our garden while we in PA and rented the house- happily he only trimmed the back!!
